You are meant to experience outrageous joy! Really! We all came here to experience humanity, gather knowledge and experiences, and to evolve. But it’s not only about that – part of your birthright is to find daily fulfillment, satisfaction and joy. If this feels foreign and lacking in your life, read on…

You are the creator of your own experience, and you can learn how to draw in what you really want by harnessing your divine joy. Guess what: there’s a direct link between the level of happiness you have and what you are attracting and manifesting in your life… and it may not be in the way that you think.

Joy is the key to manifesting what you genuinely desire in your life. When we’re not a vibrational match to what it is that we truly want, we simply cannot attract it. We’re then put into a vibrational holding pattern of sorts, until we can identify the discord and come back into vibrational resonance.

Joy and well-being is the basis for the entire universe, and you just have to allow it in. It’s like the air that we breathe – you only have to open up and relax to draw it into your being.

Its waiting right there, wanting to rush in… All we have to do is gently and gradually release resistant thoughts and other barriers that we put up to hold it away, and come back to a place of accepting and breathing in the joy that awaits us.

If you aren’t feeling passion, enthusiasm and triumph in your life, then those are all clues that you’re possibly in what I like to call a downward spiral.

See, we’re either in an upward spiral or a downward spiral at any point in time. Both of them are equally addictive and self-proliferating. They’re both powerful attractors and each picks up just as much speed and momentum as the other.

The difference is that when we’re in upward spiral, we are in the right vibration to manifest that which we truly desire. Whereas, downward spiral attracts more and more of what we don’t want.

Here’s the crazy thing – our beliefs and programming is what determines how far we allow ourselves to go into an upward spiral without taking ourselves out of that vibration and frequency, and going back into a downward spiral again!

You may ask, “How do I become joyful and maintain an upward spiral if my life doesn’t look the way I want it to look and I don’t have what I desire?” Well here’s the interesting thing – it’s not, “Once I get these things, then I’ll become joyful” because I hate to break it to you, but no amount of things is ever going to make you truly happy.

If you’re constantly looking for that magical “thing” that’s going to make you content, you’re not alone, but please hear me right now – it does not exist. Any pleasure you may get from external objects is temporary, and going down that path is just like jumping into a bottomless pit.

Surprisingly, the reverse is actually how it works. You make the decision to delve into and feed your sacred joy no matter what your situation, you find a way to become joyful every day, and that’s how you truly attract and manifest the life you want and get all the things that you desire.

By becoming joyous and happy with who you are and with what you have, you start to step into vibrational resonance with the universe. The key is to be in this place of gratitude and delight with what you have, while at the same time being desirous and eager for more!

This is the optimal place to be manifesting from – standing on the brink of what’s coming, feeling excited, eager and optimistic while putting all feelings of impatience, doubt or unworthiness aside. That is the way that you start to consciously craft your life, and draw in what it is that you want to create for yourself.

Here’s the litmus test – there’s actually a way to know whether or not you are fully connected to source energy or not – and it’s a pretty simple equation: Feeling good = you’re allowing your connection to source = upward spiral. Feeling bad = you’re resisting your connection to source = downward spiral.

Notice I use the word “allowing” because you, and only you, can choose whether or not to strip away the layers of conditioning we all allow ourselves to build up over time. By the way, when I use the word “source”, just interchange that word with whatever resonates with you: Spirit, God, Creator, Jesus… because that’s what I’m talking about.

Here’s the important thing: Upward or downward, you’re attracting and manifesting just as much – we’re always manifesting. The difference is whether you’re inviting in what you want, or what you don’t want.

Either way, the spiral builds from small, seemingly insignificant events into the things that change your whole life. It’s self-perpetuating, so wouldn’t you rather it be in an upward, positive and joyful direction?

Make the conscious decision that when you’re not in a place of joy, you need to find your sense of humor, make fun of yourself or the situation and don’t take this whole Earth-School experience so seriously. Remember and come back to a place of joy. Just find a way!

What brings you joy? Do more of that! Make it a priority in your life.

To sum it up: that old expression, “when it rains, it pours” works both ways, negative and positive, and which one you’re experiencing is no one’s decision but your own; and you being in your ecstatic, sacred joy is THE best way that you can honor and stay connected to source, and create the life you truly want.

P.S. One of my favorite little tools for finding joy in the moment is using grapefruit oil for aromatherapy because it’s a really sassy, flirty, fun smell with a very uplifting energy that helps you feel happy. I mean, c’mon… Just try staying in a bad mood while getting a good whiff of grapefruit – it’s pretty much impossible! 😉

P.S.S.  What makes you joyful? I’d love to hear about your experiences with this practice – please feel free to comment below!
