Me, like to exercise?
I’ve never been a regular exercisin’ kind of gal. I have many, many friends who straight up love to work out and they would do it every day, rain or shine, just because they love the way it makes them feel. Not me.
But, I set a goal to exercise four days a week, and it’s been about 2 weeks since I started. This past Saturday was one of those days where I literally had nothing to do, no obligations. I could have sat on the couch all day reading a book. But instead, what pops into my head but, “Hey, why don’t I go for a run…”
What?!? Did I just say that? The fact that I even thought that phrase is a miracle. And you know what, I did it. And it felt *good*. It wasn’t forced, I didn’t feel like I “had” to do it, I just did it.
I guess what the experts say is right. The key is being consistent and allowing your body to adjust to the new activity. Your body actually starts to crave it, and you can’t NOT exercise!
Who’d have ever thought I would be saying this?!?
