“HEALTH ALERT: 80% Of Americans Are Dangerously Deficient In Vitamin D”
One of the great benefits of living in Southern California is the sunshine. But even in this fabulous climate, we don’t get enough sun to fulfill the body’s need for Vitamin D. That’s right, the sun is the *best* way for the body to make its own Vitamin D. And in my recent interview with the most recognized integrative doctor in the country – Dr. Joseph Mercola – we talked about all of the health dangers that can result from Vitamin D deficiency, and what we can do to correct this problem.
The secret of Vitamin D is so amazing, that the big drug companies are doing their best to make sure that none of the rest of us know about it. Dr. Mercola and I are both passionate about getting the word out on Vitamin D and making sure that everyone knows what it can do for you. Vitamin D is literally one of the most powerful vitamins that you can put into your body. And it isn’t even a real vitamin – it’s actually a steroid-hormone. Your body can make it all by itself with the help of the sun. But, as I mentioned, even in SoCal, there isn’t enough sun to make as much as you need.
One of the reasons for this is sunscreen.
Dermatologists and the various Cancer organizations would never admit this, but sunscreen is not preventing cancer – it is actually making it worse! By preventing your body from making Vitamin D, you are encouraging the growth of malignant cells in your body. The incidence of cancer has risen steadily in the US as the use of sunscreen has increased – and that is a FACT.
Another fact is that there about 250,000 Americans that are dying every year from Vitamin D deficiency. Very few of the death certificates would list Vitamin D deficiency as a cause of death, but it was an underlying issue in all of these cases.
There are so many health issues that can be caused by Vitamin D deficiency, and most people have absolutely no idea what really causing the problems that are plaguing them. By simply making sure that your Vitamin D levels are on target, you may give your body natural protection from a huge number of conditions.

This is exactly why western medicine doesn’t want anyone to know about it – they would lose a lot of money because people wouldn’t need their drugs anymore.
So, what are the best ways to get enough Vitamin D?
Supplements are a great answer, but you can also use a *safe* tanning bed. I don’t mean the OLD variety that made all that humming racket when you start them, but the new kind of tanning beds that run almost silently. (The older varieties produce radiation.) Make sure that they produce both UV-A and UV-B rays and are a great substitute in the winter months. Of course, the very best way to help your body make Vitamin D is the sun.
